PEMBERDAYAAN PELAKU UMKM MELALUI PEMANFAATAN TEKNOLOGI DIGITAL SEBAGAI UPAYA MENINGKATKAN DAYA SAING EKONOMI DESA DOLAT RAYAT

Abstract

The Student Community Service (KKN) program serves as a means for university students to contribute to the community by supporting and helping to boost the local economy. One of the initiatives carried out in Dolat Rayat Village involved empowering small business owners through the use of digital technology. This activity aimed to help MSME entrepreneurs promote their businesses more widely and facilitate transactions using digital tools. Support was provided by assisting entrepreneurs in registering their business locations on Google Maps and adopting QRIS as a cashless payment method. The activity was conducted in person, beginning with an explanation of the benefits of digital technology, followed by hands-on assistance with data entry and the registration process. Results indicate that seven MSME participants successfully completed the QRIS setup, while others are currently in the process of finalizing the required documentation. Additionally, the Google Maps support made the businesses more discoverable to the public through digital searches. This initiative demonstrates that adopting digital technology can be a crucial first step in helping MSME entrepreneurs enhance their ability to keep pace with the digital economy. These efforts are expected to help expand business reach, streamline transactions, and support the economic development of the Dolat Rayat community.
