Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has had an impact on the social and economic dimensions, including the very limited activities Sharia Bank of Indonesia (BSI) Kalianda Branch was faced with a number of challenges in the midst of the Covid-19 outbreak where the net profit earned by Sharia Bank of Indonesia (BSI) Kalianda Branch fluctuated during the Covid-19 period. Net profit is an important indicator in measuring the success of Islamic banks because the increase in profits obtained shows that the management has succeeded in managing the company's resources effectively and efficiently. The amount of income in the net profit Sharia Bank of Indonesia (BSI) Kalianda Branch received was obtained from financing contributions distributed to customers such as micro financing and implant financing. This research includes quantitative research with an associative approach. The data used uses secondary data from the financial statements Sharia Bank of Indonesia (BSI) Kalianda Branch in the Covid-19 era for the period February 2021 - January 2022 which was then tested using the statistical tool Eviews Version 9. This study was conducted with the aim of looking at the contribution of microfinance and implant financing. to the net profit Sharia Bank of Indonesia (BSI) Kalianda Branch during the covid-19 era. The results showed that microfinance contributed to the net profit Sharia Bank of Indonesia (BSI) Kalianda Branch in the covid-19 era, this was due to the increasing number of microfinance distributions in the form of financing for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) by Sharia Bank of Indonesia (BSI) Kalianda Branch will also increase the additional income or income of Islamic banks from the profit sharing system that is implemented. Then implant financing has contributed to the net profit Sharia Bank of Indonesia (BSI) Kalianda Branch in the covid-19 era, this is because implant financing is the most dominant financing and is of interest to customers Sharia Bank of Indonesia (BSI) Kalianda Branch where users of funds from implant financing used to meet consumption needs such as food, drinks, clothing and in the form of services, such as basic education and others.
