Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of wages, incentives and social security on employee performance at PT Young Tree Industries, Sukoharjo. The population in this study amounted to 500 sewing employees. The sampling technique used the Slovin formula, so that the sample used in this study was 84 respondents. Hypothesis testing in this study used statistical analysis a ssisted by the SPSS version 26 program which includes the classical assumption test, multiple linear regression, coefficient of determination (R2), t test, and F test. The results showed that the wage variable had a significant effect on employee performance with a t value of 0.041 <0.05. The incentive variable showed a t value of 0.033 <0.05, this shows that the incentive variablehas a significant effect on employee performance. The social security variable showed a t value of 0.012 <0.05, this shows that the social security variable has a significant effect on employee performance. The result of the F test count of 0.004 <0.05 shows that there is a significant influence between the variables of wages, incentives, and social security on employee performance. The magnitude of the determination coefficient (R2) is 0.121; this shows that wages, incentives and social security are able to explain the variability of employee performance by 12.1%, while the remaining 77.9% can be explained by other variables.
