INTEGRASI PENDIDIKAN KARAKTER DALAM PEMBELAJARAN BAHASA INDONESIA DI SEKOLAH DASAR

Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of knowing the integration of character education in Indonesian language learning in elementary schools. This research is a type of research using a qualitative descriptive approach. The research data was obtained using a literature study supported by other sources in accordance with the research studies carried out such as journal articles and very relevant books including supporting documents. From the discussion of the results of the research, then they are analyzed and a conclusion is drawn. The results of the study indicate that: a) The implementation of character education in schools as part of education reform so that in its implementation the standards and objectives of implementing character education must be clear, transparent, and accountable; b) The implementation of character education must be well prepared and involve all parties related to its implementation and continuous evaluation must be carried out; c) National character education must be based on the values of Pancasila and as a religious nation, the development of national character cannot be separated from the teachings of its religion; d) Character development in schools is very important considering that this is where students begin to get acquainted with various fields of scientific study, one of which is through learning Indonesian in elementary schools.
