AUTHORSHIP CRITERIA
The International Journal of Economics, Business and Accounting Research (IJEBAR), published by STIE AAS Surakarta, requires that authorship reflect genuine intellectual contribution and accountability, not seniority, position, funding, or personal relationships. This policy follows the guidance of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and should be read with the IJEBAR Publication Ethics and Malpractice Statement.
1. Authorship Criteria
An author must have made a substantial contribution to at least one of the following: research conception or design; methodology or theoretical framework; data collection, analysis, or interpretation; or drafting or critically revising the manuscript. Every author must also approve the final manuscript and author order, and accept accountability for the work.
Funding, administrative support, institutional position, data access, technical assistance, proofreading, or general supervision alone do not qualify for authorship. Such contributors should be acknowledged, with their permission, in the Acknowledgments (Ucapan Terima Kasih) section.
2. Contributions, Author Order, and Corresponding Author
Authors are encouraged to describe each author's contribution, for example using the CRediT taxonomy. Author full names (not abbreviated), affiliations, and e-mails must match the IJEBAR template and the submission system. The author order is agreed by all authors before submission. The corresponding author coordinates the submission and confirms that all authors have approved the manuscript and author order.
3. Changes in Authorship
Any addition, removal, or reordering of authors after submission requires a written request to the editor stating the manuscript title and ID, the reason for the change, and the written consent of all authors (including anyone added or removed). No change is valid without editorial approval. Requests after acceptance or publication are assessed with particular care; justified post-publication changes are made through a published correction.
4. Unethical Practices and Disputes
IJEBAR does not accept gift, guest, or ghost authorship, coercive authorship, unauthorized authorship changes, or misrepresentation of contributions. Suspected violations are handled under COPE guidance and may lead to suspension of review, rejection, correction of the published record, or referral to the authors' institution. Authorship disputes should first be resolved among the authors; the journal may suspend processing and refer unresolved disputes to the relevant institution.
5. Artificial Intelligence
AI tools cannot be listed as authors. Authors must disclose any use of AI and remain fully responsible for the accuracy, originality, and integrity of their work.
Questions or authorship change requests should be sent to the IJEBAR editorial office via http://jurnal.stie-aas.ac.id/index.php/IJEBAR.
