Abstract

This research focuses on examining the influence of spirituality in work by exploring how important spiritual values are able to influence the performance of individuals and institutions. This research aims to understand how the value of Islamic spirituality is implemented in an institution and how it impacts individuals and institutions. There are 8 informants who are leaders who oversee the institution, administrators, staff/employees from various positions, mustahiq (recipients), and muzzaki (the giver). This research is qualitative research with the descriptive- analytical method. This study shows that adab (manner), knowledge, charity, and kaizen are the 4 main principles in the strategy for implementing Islamic spiritual values at Lazismu PCM Bantul. The implementation of Islamic spiritual values has a positive impact on employees at the individual level, such as increasing faith and knowledge. At the group level, it is such as harmonious, conducive work situations and interpersonal relationships, and positive work attitudes. In addition, at the organizational level, the perceived impact such as increased achievement and growth in the institution.
