IMPACT COVID-19 TERHADAP PERUSAHAAN TRANSPORTASI, ENERGI, TELEKOMUNIKASI : PERSPEKTIF PROFITABILITY DAN LIQUIDITY RATIO

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine whether there is a difference between the profitability ratios and liquidity ratios of companies in the transportation, energy, and telecommunications sectors between before the covid-19 pandemic and the profitability ratios and liquidity ratios during the covid-19 pandemic. This research was conducted on transportation, energy and telecommunications companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The research sample is 44 transportation, energy and telecommunications companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The research method used is a quantitative approach and for processing research data using the SPSS version 25 program. The test results of the average difference test using the Wilcoxon signed rank test method with the SPSS program are known that when measuring using the profitability ratio there is a difference between the profitability ratios during the pandemic compared to pre-pandemic profitability ratios for transportation, energy, and telecommunications companies. Meanwhile, based on the results of the average difference test using the Wilcoxon signed rank test method when measuring using the liquidity ratio, there is no significant difference between the current ratio of transportation, energy, and telecommunications companies before the pandemic with the current ratio of transportation, energy, and telecommunications companies during the pandemic.
