This study aimed to examine a direct and indirect effects of variables on the level of understanding and usefulness of the decision to use sharia e-money in people who own e-money in Jambi City with an interest in using sharia e-money as an intervening variable. The study's sample was comprised of 100 respondents. The primary data used in this study were analyzed by using a validity test, reliability test, classic assumption test (normality, autocorrelation, and heteroscedasticity), F test, T-test, and Path Analysis. Based on the results of the hypothesis test, it is apparent that the direct influence of the variables' level of understanding (X1) and expediency (X2) has a big impact on people's interest in using sharia e-money (X3). Directly, the level of understanding (X1) of the benefits (X2) and interest in using sharia e-money (X3) have a significant influence on the decision to use sharia e-money (Y), as well as the indirect effect of the level of understanding (X1) and the benefits (X2) with an intervening variable of interest in using sharia e-money. Indeed, the study's findings indicate that the level of comprehension and usefulness, which had a significant impact on the decision to use sharia e-money in Jambi City, could be indirectly transmitted by desiring the using sharia e-money.
